Everyone knows that the first rule of trying to avoid rain while on spring break is to stay in the Pacific Northwest and, most especially, to head for the coast and then the rainforest. I have proof that this is rock-solid adive:
See? The Washington coast is always sunny and gorgeous in early April.
More travel tips: when staying in a B&B, make extra special sure that they know that it's you and your 13 year old son traveling together. Do not assume that even though you mentioned that in the "notes" section of your reservation request, and asked for the rollaway bed, that the B&B owner will have registered that fact. Maybe call ahead to remind them, you are NOT a couple. That way, when said B&B owner shows you to your room there won't be only one bed and that bed won't be strewn with rose petals, and it will be less awkward for everybody.
Finally, I bet you want to see some pictures of trees with moss on them, don't you? I just happen to have some.
Lotsa moss, but no rain, people. I'm gonna be seeking the sun in the rainforest more often.
am dying to make a tacky comment here, but let it suffice that I at minimum thought of one in your honor. am laughing silently (but hysterically) here at the library reading of your Forks faux-rendezvous environs.
