We all have our little rituals. Mine tend to revolve around coffee. My big fancy burr grinder has a literal screw loose, so I've been using the wooden hand-cranker. There's something gratifying about doing some of the work myself. I get a big kick out of the fact that my favorite coffee maker is made by a company that makes awesome frisbee-type discs.
