I suggest that the kidlet henceforth be known as El Nino. (with a tilde)

Karen

1. I second El Nino.
2. I've been dreaming about soup. This week, for sure!
3. You're about to be in beet heaven:

I thought of El Nino, but now that name invokes climatic phenomenon, not little boys. Plus, I don't think that you can use a tilde in TypePad.

Hijito. Which is really just saying kidlet, but maybe he won't mind if it's in Spanish.

Or shorten it to the way it's usually pronounced - Hito, sometimes spelled Jito.

Kidlet knows what he wants to be called-- it's his secret name. And, your soup sounds dreamy-- and Mexican hot chocolate, sigh-- mmmmmm.
