The problem with telling everyone that the kidlet is really into Legos this year is that of course, everyone then gives him Legos for his birthday, and soon there are Lego bits in every nook and cranny of the house and the kidlet there in the middle of it all yelling, "Mom! I can't find [vitally important Lego piece]!"
Ouch, thanks for the warning! Pete's already HEAVY into Legos and has several on his birthday wish list (can you say Star Wars?!). I fear we will be swimming in the little bits come April. And still missing that light gray circular piece with the hole in the middle...!

but if the lego pieces can be kept together. I had a roommate in college that had boxes of the things. It's amazing how the appeal of those things last. at least for guys anyway.

Hello, Michele sent me. My son is into the bionicle version of legos. Same deal. Everytime I vacuum the pieces up, I know I will be buying them again in a week or so. When will it end?
