Sweet 'n' sexy Mikey got me an iTunes gift certificate for my birthday. Thanks, dahlink! My old housemates are taking me to dinner tomorrow, and my best girls are cooking the same for me on The Big Day. Birthdays are good.
I love my iPod, but the head phones are freaking out my ears. Perhaps I have small ears or something, but I can't find a comfy way to get them to sit in my ears, and then sometimes when I'm not wearing them it feels like they are there, sort of like when you take off a ring you are used to wearing all the time. Do they make smaller ones, or do I just have to get used to them? Any ideas?
I changed for awhile but got used to te earbuds. They do take some getting used to.
By the way, you're welcome.

This is precisely why I don't own any personal player. I've tried all sorts of earphones and earbuds. All of them hurt, and the larger ones that sit on top of my ears, are just too bulky to walk around in.
If you ever find a solution, let me know.

Hi, Nina--I'm Kimberly (musicandcats)'s blog daughter. Upgrade to the in-ear buds with 3 sizes of ear-cup-thingies you can buy from Apple, or better still to the ER-4P in-ear phones by www.etymotic.com. I'm a professional musician with fussy ears, and those little ER-4Ps are the best speakers I've heard at any size or price. The 25-30dB isolation you get due to the tight seal makes them even more effective than the big noise-reduction headsets like Bose QuietComfort. Still better, spend $60-100 more and go to an audiologist to be fitted for custom earmolds for those ER-4Ps. --Erin
