things are looking up

Not only will I soon be back in a real urban neighborhood (south of the canal, even), and able to access cool stuff by foot, but I get to spend ten glorious days away from eVil corp. It's not exactly a road trip, though time will be spent on the road, and I won't get to explore nearly as much as I might want, but I do get to hang with three of the people I love most in the whole world, and that ain't too shabby. Plus, I really dig the part of OR we're going to, and I can't wait to go to the martini bar here.
