It's always interesting to me to wonder about what people who know me through my blog would think if they met me in person. Recently, I shared the blog with someone who knew me apart from it (though only through email). His conclusions were not that surprising, and quite accurate. Yes, I am different on the blog than in direct communication, and yes, the true me is perhaps always a bit hidden.

I think that's the same for alot of people. I find it easier to get along with people on the net. In life I'd rather just deal with my cat.

Ahhh. Yes, I believe we sometimes use the alter ego when posting blogs. Just like real authors! I am sure this is probably true for big-named writers as well.
