Just got news in my inbox that Cubanismo's 2004 tour got cancelled. They were going to play several gigs at Jazz Alley, and I for one am seriously bummed, especially since the reason for the cancellation is that the US denied the musicians their friggin' visas. Goddamn fucked up foreign policy. And why now? They usually play here every year. Guess I'm just gonna hafta go to Cuba.
