I keep waiting for my writer's block to lift. But I don't think it's gonna. I think I'm just going to have to force myself to write, which might be somewhat painful for the reader. I will try to minimize that part the best that I am able.
Things are being stirred up. Moved. Agitated. Dug into. Whenever I've gone through this process in the past, I've ended up leaving a marriage. There's no relationship to tear asunder now, so what does that mean? I'm not going to move to a new town, or significantly change anything else on the outside, either, so what's left? Just me. Whatever work that needs to be done, whatever sifting and sorting and selecting that will take place will all occur inside. Can a middle-aged dog learn new tricks? We're gonna find out.
