I decided to take my camera to the beach today. I was walking along when a woman approached me and told me she had a gift for me from mother nature. She held out a handful of stripey rocks like this one. She asked me to choose one.
"The stripe is quartz," she told me, "and it makes these rocks wishing rocks." It so happened that the rock I chose, while small, had many stripes criss-crossing it. I'd get a wish for each one. We both laughed. She gave me instructions on how to properly make my wishes, and sent me on my way.
I can't, of course, reveal my wishes. But I can tell you that I felt the abundance that rock represented as I walked along and looked for things to take pictures of. Here's my 365 Project shot of the day:
And here are a couple more, just for fun.
(What IS that funky fuschia colored seaweed that's all over the beach this time of year?)
And now I have an abundance of laundry to tackle.
Love the buds and the repeat of the angles.
