This isn't technically a garage. At least I don't think so. I don't know what the hell it is. Here's a wider view:
It's almost like a gargage stuck into the side of a very large, low-slung storage building of some sort. But that door is gorgeous, and certainly meets the criteria I mentioned yesterday about why I like to shoot garages.
These are lovely, Janeen. I also love the falling-apart and the well-weathered, what the design gurus these days call wabi-sabi. I think it's just a relief to see things get to be what they actually are, what time and nature have made them. Thank you for sharing them (and your process).

I like garages, too... i have lived in several at various times of my life. They are like miniature houses.

So if the door doesn't fit into your definition of garages, change the definition. Maybe it's not so much garages per se, but rather the Cool Old Big Door photo series. Keep `em coming!
