What do you call the sound made when a dozen or more keypads are being tapped on rapidly at the same time?  It's not quite like birds chirping or crickets.  It's almost like falling rain.

Update:  In the panel I attended while writing this post, they discussed the importance of good headlines.   My timing is fabulous.

Two even-more-amusing sounds from a gaggle of laptops:

1. The sound made when someone trips over the master A/C power plug, and all the laptops in the room go onto battery power at the same time.

2. The sound made by the laptop USERS when the wireless LAN goes out unexpectedly.

I have no names for these, but I recommend not having children in the room for the second.
