I saw this over at Karen's, and it looked so fun I had to play. Here's how it works. Grab your iPod (or reasonable facsimile) and set it to shuffle. Ask these questions aloud and hit play. Answer the question with the title to the song, and NO CHEATING.
1) How does the world see me?
Free In You~Indigo Girls
Oh that world, it is so confused.
2) Will I have a happy life?
I Wanna Be Loved~Elvis Costello
3)What do my friends really think of me?
Lenguaje del Son~Ritmo y Candela
This translates as Language of the Son. Son is a musical style, one of the roots of salsa. I think this means that nobody understands what the hell I'm talking about.
4) Do people secretly lust after me?
Mucho Corazon~Luis Miguel
That means yes, very much, in their hearts.
5) How can I make myself happy?
(Who Discovered) America~Ozomatli
Just as I suspected. There is no key to happiness.
6)What should I do with my life?
Fool~BoDeans
OK, fine. I rescind the question
7)Will I ever have [more] children?
La Serenissima~Loreena McKennitt
We're going to interpret that as a big fat NO.
8)What is some good advice for me?
Que Te Vaya Bonito~Maria Dolores Pradera
"I hope things go well for you." In other words, this thing isn't helping me at all. Just sending me on my pretty way
9)How will I be remembered?
Mi Paloma Triste~Maria Dolores Pradera
As sad little dove? Oh man, maybe I should start taking those anti-depressants.
10) What do I think my current theme song is?
Let's Just Get Naked~Joan Osborne
Alrighty then!
11) What does everyone else think my current theme song should be?
Let's Get It On~Marvin Gaye
Ha! Obviously my iPod thinks I need to get laid. Now if only the people in my life were thinking along these lines, I'd have it made.
12)What song will play at my funeral?
So Nice (Summer Samba)~Bebel Gilberto
Not nice that I'm dead, of course. Right? Right?
13)What type of men do I like?
The Carnival Is Over~Dead Can Dance
Guess I'm off to loiter about at the state fair, and pick up dudes. See ya!
This is one of the best memes I've seen in a while!

OK, so this has the infuriating combination of incomprehensibility and occassional possibly relevant bits that I recall from my first experiences with the I Ching in Jr. High. It also reveals that the shuffle algorithm in iTunes is, to use a technical term, whack.
1) How does the world see me?
Wisteria - Richard Shindell
2) Will I have a happy life?
Take It Down - John Hiatt
3)What do my friends really think of me?
Drown In My Own Tears - Richie Havens
4) Do people secretly lust after me?
Chip Monck - Les McCann
5) How can I make myself happy?
Drama - Erykah Badu
6)What should I do with my life?
Let It Rain - Patricia Barber
7)Will I ever have [more] children?
Sometimes - Erykah Badu
8)What is some good advice for me?
The Shampoo - Les McCann
At that point I stopped. Now I have to go wonder if people really think I'm drowning in my own tears, and who the heck this Chip Monck character is and why is he/she lusting after me?
('Let It Rain', eh? Hmm. Good thing I live in Seattle.)

Paul, I like that drama is how you can make yourself happy. Maybe you should be writing a play!
