I have been to the Alamo, seen a longhorn steer, and drunk Shiner Bock. I ate Bar-B-Que, crossed the Trinity, Guadalupe, Colorado and Medina rivers, and took the requisite fotos of bluebonnets:
Cowtown Pattie is, as she might say herself, a hoot. She and her family took the best care of me, and I am forever grateful. I have stories and more fotos, y'all, but right now I want to hang out with the kidlet, who I missed one heck of a lot more than he appears to have missed me (which is as it should be).

Oh, bluebonnets... I miss bluebonnets. And the shape of Texas on a roadsign is just better somehow than old GW's likeness. I can't wait to read stories.

Can't wait for the stories. And thanks for the phone call. It was great to hear your voice.

More please. I know what you mean about the kidlet and you are right on that we miss out kids more than they miss us and that's a sign that you're a good ma.
